Emily March’s newest release, Heartsong Cottage, has hit a “publishing trifecta” appearing on the New York Times bestseller list, the USA Today bestseller list, and the Publishers Weekly bestseller list, and we are thrilled to have her as our guest for this week’s installment of Ten Questions.

A few week’s ago Jennifer gave us her review of the new book and since then, Dottie has also posted a short review on Goodreads. Here’s what she has to say about this wonderful novel.

“In the 10th installment of Emily March‘s Eternity Springs series, we meet Daniel Garrett a private investigator who left the police force ten years ago after the tragic abduction and death of his 4 year old son and the loss of his wife. He meets Shannon O’Toole while visiting friends in Eternity Springs. Shannon also has a past that she is fleeing from. Can these two lonely souls find love and trust in each other??? The magic of Eternity Springs can work wonders!! Heartsong Cottage had a bit more suspense and intrigue than previous installments, making it a can’t put down page turner for me. I hopefully see at least a few more potential stories coming out of this magical Colorado town.”

Clearly this is a must read for fans of The Eternity Springs series but if you’re just jumping in, check out Emily March’s website for more details on where to start.

EM: Great movie soundtracks (The Last of the Mohicans)

BD: What turns you off?
EM: Politics splattered across social media

BD: What sound or noise do you love?
EM: Waterfalls!

BD: What sound or noise do you hate?
EM: Sirens. They worry me.

BD: If you could have drinks with any author or literary figure, who would you invite?
EM: Christina Dodd. She’s my best author friend and we always have a great time together, and if we’re having drinks at her house her husband pours REALLY good wine.

BD: What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
EM: My daughter is a landscape architect and she gets to design the absolutely coolest projects. When I grow up, I’d like to be a landscape architect.

BD: What profession would you not like to do?
EM: Teacher. I have so much respect for teachers, but I don’t have the patience to do their job. I would be a horrible teacher.

BD: What would you choose for your last meal?
EM: Carbs. Lots and lots of carbs.
