Yes, your cat is plotting to kill you. Just read the title. If it’s on the internet, it has to be true, and I’m posting this on the internet.

Let’s be straight. I’m an animal person. I advocate for creatures large and small, furry or not, although I’m still getting used to spiders. They serve a purpose in this world, but I don’t like them bigger than a 1/4 inch wide (legs included). Boy, that was total tangent. This book is the definitive exploration into what our cats are really thinking and planning. It’s all comical and meant to be taken lightly.

But what if it isn’t? What if The Oatmeal and Mr. Inman know something we don’t know and can see into cats what regular people can’t see? This is why I jumped into this book as a “how-to” guide to survive life with the furries. How can I learn more and be two steps ahead of them? Is it possible? Or are the cats so much more sophisticated than us humans?

I watch for the specific behaviors and actions described in this book to the ones my own felines display. Some of my cats do a good job of feeling my internal organs for weakness. Others won’t allow me to communicate via computer/internet by lying on the laptop keyboard. The painful feeding and purging to prepare for battle is real; I’ve seen it happen in person. In the middle of the book, bobcats can apparently work together in an office and get into trouble with fellow coworkers. Not sure where all this came from, but it was comical.

This book is perfect for a good laugh when things aren’t going well and you might wonder what your cat is up to. Until the time comes when we have full video/audio/psychological access to our kitties to determine exactly what they do when we’re gone and what they might be plotting, this book will give you a guide for preparation. The graphics are too cool, btw.
