If I Run, the first book in this series, left us dangling from a cliff wondering what would happen to Casey Cox next. If I’m Found picks up where the previous book left off. If you haven’t read the first book, have no fear. You can read this one as a stand-alone.

Casey is still on the run, fleeing prosecution for a murder she didn’t commit. Dylan Roberts is still on Casey’s trail, but his secret emails insist that he knows the truth and wants to help her. Casey continues to work to collect evidence about the murder she is accused of. However, as she does in the first book, Casey stumbles upon a situation that doesn’t involve her case, but is one she can’t walk away from. Casey risks her own safety to right this wrong, but doing so is risky and may result in her capture. I enjoyed this side story. The twist, turns and suspense of the book come more from these events than from Casey’s case. One part of me couldn’t help thinking though that Casey should worry about saving herself! The other part was proud of her for putting others needs above her own.

Fast paced and suspenseful, I read If I’m Found in a day. I needed to know if Casey would finally clear her name? Or would she continue to run? Would the sparks that seemed to fly between her and Dylan ignite? All these questions are answered … sort of. There is a third book scheduled for this series, so there is more of Casey’s story to come. I’m eagerly awaiting the conclusion to Casey’s story. She has to stop running eventually, right?

I received an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley.
