Book Review: Letters of Note by Shaun Usher

Could there a book that, in some way, appeals to everyone? If it is possible, I’d lay a solid bet that Letters of Note could be that book. Continue reading “Book Review: Letters of Note by Shaun Usher”

A Change of Heart by Sonali Dev: A Book Review, Blog Tour, Giveaway, Interview, and an Umm Interesting Conversation

This post is going to be on the long side so I’m going to do away with the catchy intros and just jump right in. Celebrating Audiobooks Month: Why We Love Audiobooks

June is Audiobooks Month and the Bookish Ladies are happy to take this opportunity to gush about one of our favorite things. This isn’t a review, a how to, or even a why you need to listen article. Re-Read: A Tree Grows In Brooklyn

Sometimes you just need to re-read an old favorite. I’ve been in a book slump starting then abandoning book after book because nothing was grabbing me, finally I just gave up for a few days. Then the other night I decided to try again and while flipping through my Kindle library I stumbled upon A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, a book I’ve loved each time I’ve read it. But this time I started to wonder–is each read the same? Continue reading “Re-Read: A Tree Grows In Brooklyn”
