Good Boy is a spin-off from one of my favorite male/male books ever – Him and the follow up Us. If you’ve read those (and really, if you haven’t GO NOW) then you’re familiar with the wonderful Jamie and Wes. As well as my favorite Blake, their neighbor. Good Boy is the story of Blake and Jess, who happens to be Jamie’s sister. Continue reading “Book Review: Good Boy (WAGs #1) by Sarina Bowen & Elle Kennedy”
I wanted to read this book for two reasons. The author is from the same small county in Virginia that I am and the summary of the book sounded like something I’d love to read. So here we are. Continue reading “Book Review: Hit and Run by Jason Moore”

Motorcycles? Ink & Chrome! Small Town? Petal! Menage? Err…there are a few lol. Super strong heroine – take your pick! Continue reading “Book Review: Diablo Lake: Protected by Lauren Dane”
This book was going along just fine until the end. Unfortunately, the end tainted feelings towards the rest of the book and makes this read a 3-star verses a 4-star. Continue reading “Book Review: The Girl Before by JP Delaney”
WOW! Twists and turns kept this reader from guessing what was next. Continue reading “Book Review: Everything You Want Me to Be by Mindy Mejia”
This book is a murder mystery, but not. It’s not a YA novel by any means but it concentrates largely on teen characters. You Will Know Me has a little of everything – family drama, sports, murder and above all, really great writing. Continue reading “Book Review: You Will Know Me by Megan Abbott”
In the beginning there was this sense of impending excitement but ultimately this story didn’t wow me. Continue reading “Book Review: The River at Night by Erica Ferencik”
