Book Review: A Talent for Murder by Andrew Wilson

Having only read two of Agatha Christie’s books, I’m far from being an expert on her books or personal life. It came as a surprise to me that she disappeared for several days in 1926. That fact alone led me to request A Talent for Murder from NetGalley. Andrew Wilson takes Christie’s odd disappearance in 1926 and weaves a story around this still unsolved mystery.   Continue reading “Book Review: A Talent for Murder by Andrew Wilson”

Book Review: Resentment by Nicole London

This is an enemies-to-lovers book and I generally love those kinds of books. Dean and Mia were in love in High School until something made them fall extremely out of love to the point of pretty much hatred. It’s been 10 years now and they have to be around each other again. Continue reading “Book Review: Resentment by Nicole London”

Book Review: The Right Side by Spencer Quinn

What I thought was going to be the story of a wounded warrior and a dog finding a missing child was not that at all. Continue reading “Book Review: The Right Side by Spencer Quinn”

Book Review: A Stardance Summer by Emily March

Emily March takes me back to one of my favorite fictional towns in the latest edition of her Eternity Springs series. Continue reading “Book Review: A Stardance Summer by Emily March”

Book Review – Coach’s Challenge by Avon Gale

Coach’s Challenge is the next in one of my favorite series – the Scoring Chances series by Avon Gale. I’m a huge fan of hockey books (hello Sarina Bowen!) and a friend introduced me to Gale’s writing last year and since then I’ve devoured literally every single thing she has ever published. I’m not exaggerating when I say that all of them have been 4, 4.5, or 5 stars. So any time there’s a new one I’m there for it! Continue reading “Book Review – Coach’s Challenge by Avon Gale”

Book Review: The Last Place You Look by Kristen Lepionka

More twists and turns than the curviest back road you can image! What happened to Sarah Cook? That’s what PI Roxane Weary is charged with finding out. Continue reading “Book Review: The Last Place You Look by Kristen Lepionka”

Book Review: Sight Unseen Anthology

I completely love the idea of this project. 5 authors wrote short stories/novellas for an anthology…not that exciting right? Well, they decided that they would not reveal which author wrote which story! I think that’s a pretty amazing project to undertake. Everyone has authors they love. I do. Some of those authors are autobuy authors for me and some authors I am much more inclined to buy a book if their name is attached to it – even if the synopsis doesn’t sound all that great. They’re going to reveal who wrote what story in 3 months. I’m going to make my guesses now and see how good I am! Continue reading “Book Review: Sight Unseen Anthology”

Blog Tour/Review: Strong Enough by Melanie Harlow & David Romanov

I’m a fan of Melanie Harlow writing on her own so I was looking forward to her first male/male romance. Plus she was co-writing with David Romanov. Some of my favorite books are written by pairs so I was solidly here for this one. Continue reading “Blog Tour/Review: Strong Enough by Melanie Harlow & David Romanov”

Book Review: MatchUp Anthology

MatchUp is the follow-up to 2014’s FaceOff and teams up a female thriller writer with a male thriller writer. One of each writer’s main characters will pair up for a bit of mystery solving. Continue reading “Book Review: MatchUp Anthology”
