Just before dawn, a man murders a young woman. At the same time, a hot-air balloon crashes out of the sky. There’s just one survivor of the crash and she’s seen the killer’s face, but he’s also seen hers. Can’t you hear the Law & Order “dun dun” sound effect?

Dead Woman Walking was filled with many questions. Would the author supply me with the answers to them all? I had no idea where the story was going, but I was intrigued. I want to list all the questions I had while reading this book, but a lot of those questions would give away part of the story. So let me simply say that all my questions were answered. Some of those with great, last second twists that made reading this book to the very end worth every minute of anguish I suffered over the need for answers.

Sharon Bolton is a brand new author to me and Dead Woman Walking has encouraged me to add yet more books to my TBR. You should too!
