I have one complaint about this book. It ended! *sobs* Love to Win is the third book in Claro’s Fireflies series and is as good, if not better, than the first two books.

You can read this book without having read the first two but I always recommend reading a complete series in order. I especially recommend it now because this series is just so good!

If you’ve read Love Built to Last and Love to Believe then you already know Brenna and Dante. I have been waiting for their story. From the beginning I loved them and wanted more. They both have sass and attitude. And Brenna often directs her sass and attitude at Dante. She does not like him and usually refers to him as “Neanderthal!” But you know how these romance stories work, right? Gradually things change and the sparks begin to ignite. Feelings begin to change. Do you remember the butterflies you used to get in your stomach when your crush walked into the room? I had those butterflies while reading this entire book. I just loved Brenna and Dante. Claro builds their relationship slowly and I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. The sparks have always flown between them but when would they realize they needed each other? That they were made for each other? Their chemistry is captured so well that I felt like I was in Brenna’s shoes, feeling those first pangs of “Is this really love?”

These words melted me. *sigh* This was the feel of the book. So sweet and pretty hot on occasion. *wink wink*

“You’re mine now,” he said, the words a sweet whisper against her lips.

She threaded her hands through his messy hair. “And you’re mine.”

“Brenna.” Dante took her face in his hands and held her gaze, but many moments passed before he gave her the words she had already seen in his eyes. “I have always been yours.”

The door is open for more books in the series though this book comes to a satisfactory ending with nothing left hanging. Start reading the series, won’t you? You’ll thank me later 😉
