After their mother’s death twelve years ago, the Carlisle family unraveled. One by one, all but one of the four siblings left their Nantucket home and never returned. All seem to blame their father for their mother’s death, but nobody will talk about that tragic day. Book Review: Good Me Bad Me by Ali Land

Ali Land’s Good Me Bad Me seemed to pop up everywhere I turned, so I was excited to win a copy from the publisher. I couldn’t wait to see if it was going to be as good as everyone said, but it didn’t live up to the hype, in my opinion. Continue reading “Book Review: Good Me Bad Me by Ali Land”

Book Review: Half Past by Victoria Helen Stone

While my preferred genre is romance to read, I do branch out occasionally and read a wide variety of genres and lately I’ve been reading a ton of suspense. Book Review: You Will Pay by Lisa Jackson

I’m getting older and my memory isn’t what it used to be. I’m finding it harder and harder to keep track of the characters in books. You Will Pay had so many characters that my head was often spinning with the effort to keep track of who was who and what their story was. Continue reading “Book Review: You Will Pay by Lisa Jackson”

Book Review: The Reminders by Val Emmich

How does a book earn a 3-star rating? For me, it’s a book I enjoyed reading but one that doesn’t make me FEEL and is not one I rush to read again. Val Emmich’s The Reminders fits the criteria here for a 3-star read. Continue reading “Book Review: The Reminders by Val Emmich”
