Book Review: Wrong to Need You by Alisha Rai

Alisha Rai followed up her seriously amazing first book in the Forbidden Hearts series with another stunner here. When I say this series is not to be missed I am not exaggerating! I am always recommending it. It has everything from star crosses lovers to forbidden lovers to some crazy good family drama. Drop everything. DO IT.  Continue reading “Book Review: Wrong to Need You by Alisha Rai”

Book Review/Tour: Heart of the Steal by Avon Gale & Roan Parrish

Roan Parrish – who wrote the Middle of Somewhere series I love- and Avon Gale – who wrote the Scoring Chances series I adore and a ton of other books – teamed up and wrote a book! Male/Male romance seems filled with these amazing writing duo’s; Sarina Bowen & Elle Kennedy, Megan Erickson & Santino Hassell and now we can add Roan and Avon to this great list. Continue reading “Book Review/Tour: Heart of the Steal by Avon Gale & Roan Parrish”

Book Review: My Roommate’s Girl by Julianna Keyes

If you haven’t read Julianna Keyes before, this is a great book to start with! It’s not part of a series, there’s no connections to any other books so it’s a great place to start with an excellent author. Continue reading “Book Review: My Roommate’s Girl by Julianna Keyes”

Book Review – Coach’s Challenge by Avon Gale

Coach’s Challenge is the next in one of my favorite series – the Scoring Chances series by Avon Gale. I’m a huge fan of hockey books (hello Sarina Bowen!) and a friend introduced me to Gale’s writing last year and since then I’ve devoured literally every single thing she has ever published. I’m not exaggerating when I say that all of them have been 4, 4.5, or 5 stars. So any time there’s a new one I’m there for it! Continue reading “Book Review – Coach’s Challenge by Avon Gale”

Book Review: Sight Unseen Anthology

I completely love the idea of this project. 5 authors wrote short stories/novellas for an anthology…not that exciting right? Well, they decided that they would not reveal which author wrote which story! I think that’s a pretty amazing project to undertake. Everyone has authors they love. I do. Some of those authors are autobuy authors for me and some authors I am much more inclined to buy a book if their name is attached to it – even if the synopsis doesn’t sound all that great. They’re going to reveal who wrote what story in 3 months. I’m going to make my guesses now and see how good I am! Continue reading “Book Review: Sight Unseen Anthology”

Blog Tour/Review: Strong Enough by Melanie Harlow & David Romanov

I’m a fan of Melanie Harlow writing on her own so I was looking forward to her first male/male romance. Plus she was co-writing with David Romanov. Some of my favorite books are written by pairs so I was solidly here for this one. Continue reading “Blog Tour/Review: Strong Enough by Melanie Harlow & David Romanov”

Book Review: Small Change by Roan Parrish

I’ve loved Roan Parrish’s writing. The Out of Nowhere books really struck me as realistic and messy, with imperfect characters and ones that have stuck with me ever since. Rex kills me every time I read that book. I’ve listened to the audio of them numerous times because I just love them so much. The second book with Colin – ugh – just so perfect with its imperfections. I can’t recommend them enough. Continue reading “Book Review: Small Change by Roan Parrish”

Book Review: Tanner by Sarah Mayberry

Evie Forrester flew across the world to surprise her boyfriend, only to be surprised herself when things do not turn out in her favor. Tanner Harding, an expert bullrider, swoops in to save the day by saving her entire trip. When things get more involved between the two of them than Evie would ever have guessed she has to figure out what exactly she really wants. Continue reading “Book Review: Tanner by Sarah Mayberry”

Book Review: When It’s Real by Erin Watt

Erin Watt is the pen name for the duo of two authors that I really love to fangirl over – Elle Kennedy and Jen Frederick. I love them writing individually, with other writing partners, and in a variety of genres so I was looking forward to a standalone NA from these two. Sometimes I feel like I don’t have enough standalones! I love trilogies and series but a good standalone can be worth its weight in gold. Continue reading “Book Review: When It’s Real by Erin Watt”
