Looking for a special gift for the book lover in your life? Need ideas to add to your wishlist? Just looking to buy yourself a present? Well whatever your reason to shop, we can help!
Over the last few months, my hubby and I have been converting one of our spare rooms into a library and I found this to be the perfect excuse to shop for wonderful book related home decorations. Although I wasn’t able to fit all of these into my small library I’m sure they’d make a welcome addition to any book lover’s home.
This Pride and Prejudice Woven Throw is perfect for snuggling up with and under a good book. It’s heavy, warm, and is actually made of a woven fabric, not fuzzy or screen printed like may less expensive options. The Hubby bought this for me last Christmas and it’s been well loved ever since. I think it’s worth every penny.
Do you love quilts or collages? Yes? Then, Apples and Spindles is for you. Their selection of throws, pillows, duvets, rugs, and yes even shower curtains will help you showcase your love of books in every room of the house.
It’s no secret to anyone who knows me that I have a small obsession with Think Geek. But seriously, who can resist when they have things like these amazing book pillows? Shopping tip: they run coupon codes ALL THE TIME. I wouldn’t buy it unless you have a code, there’s always a code. (Like today 12.15.15 everything is 25% off with the coupon code on the site.)
I know these book shaped dishes have been all over the internet but that doesn’t stop me from wanting to set a bookish table.
Pair them up with a Mug or Coaster Set from Out of Print. While you’re there, check our their great selection of shirts, totes, journal and other things based on classic books. They even have children’s and baby sizes!
Etsy just emailed me and told me I might like this Pride and Prejudice Lamp Shade. And then I looked at the other items in On the Daydream‘s shop and found these lovely lavender sachets, book pillows, placemats, table runners, and so much more. Featuring Anne of Green Gables, Dickens, Sherlock Holmes, Keats, Jane Eyre, To Kill a Mockingbird, and other classics. Well played, Etsy Marketing Department, well played.
I hope this helps you shop for the book lover on your list (or yourself!). If you still need ideas, or you still have some money left to spend check back next week for the next part of Gifts for the Bookish.
