She has a great way of writing families and women in particular that is incredibly realistic, funny, and moving. So when I got a chance to meet her at BEA back in May I was really excited! I don’t think I’ve squealed about Hamilton and Lin-Manuel Miranda or any of the amazing cast members here (that needs to be corrected shortly!), but I’m kind of obsessed with it. So much so that when I discovered that Lin had narrated a YA book previously I had to rush out to listen to it as quickly as possible.
