Ten Questions with Nic Joseph

Nic Joseph joins Bookish Devices today for Ten Questions. She’s a brand new author whose first book – Boy, 9, Missing – released in September 2016. If her future books are as good as this debut then we’ve got an excellent author on our hands.  Continue reading “Ten Questions with Nic Joseph”

Book Review: Archangel’s Heart by Nalini Singh

My love for Nalini Singh isn’t exactly one that’s hidden. I like to sing it from the rafters and she tops my list of ultimate dream authors I would love to meet! But there are different permutations of this author and the Guild Hunter series is my all time favorite. Archangel’s Heart is the latest in this series, out today actually, and it fulfilled almost every thing that I was looking for in this book. I can always count on Nalini to not let me down which is why she’s one of the handful of autobuy authors I have which is the highest of honors a reader can bestow! Ten Questions with Charles Salzberg

Charles Salzberg is a gifted writer and, like his co-conspirators for the novel, “Triple Shot”, hails from New York City (my home town).  I was excited to be offered their book in exchange for an honest review, and can’t be more happy to promote this Ten Questions post. Don’t be fooled. This writer has a list of books and teaches for New York Writers Workshop. If you want to live vicariously through this man’s experiences, check out his books. Continue reading “Ten Questions with Charles Salzberg”

Book Review: The Hating Game by Sally Thorne

You know how a book can be recommended over and over to you by people who know you? And you kind of worry in the back of your mind that you won’t like the book and then what? Yeah, this book was recommended to me repeatedly but holy crap it was love at first reading, hitting on multiple tropes I love and ones I didn’t know I loved!
