This one kept me guessing all the way through! Now THAT is the sign of an excellent mystery! Continue reading “Book Review: Saving Meghan by D.J. Palmer”
Don’t let the Baxter name keep you from reading the latest from Karen Kingsbury. Two Weeks is Elise Walker’s story. While Cole Blake, son of Landon and Ashley Baxter Blake, plays a pretty big role, this book is not a focus on the Baxter family and can be read as a stand-alone. If you haven’t read the 25+ Baxter books prior to this one, starting here will not be a problem. Continue reading “Book Review: Two Weeks by Karen Kingsbury”
An interesting plot that should have been packed with emotion, but emotion did not quite fill the suitcase. Continue reading “Book Review: Little Lovely Things by Maureen Joyce Connolly”

Of course, a few minutes later the two windup at the same gaming table where they begin to flirt over a game of Carcassone. Continue reading “Review: No Rulebook for Flirting by Laura Bailo”
Taylor Jenkins Reid has chosen an interesting way to tell a story. But does it work? Continue reading “Book Review: Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid”
Man! Oh man! It feels as if I’ve done nothing but read, review and have lackluster feelings about books in the mystery/thriller/suspense genre lately. Unfortunately, that’s not changing as I bring you a review of another lackluster book. Continue reading “Book Review: The Perfect Alibi by Phillip Margolin”
