I was lucky enough to meet Alisha Rai at RT in May, see her speak on an amazing panel, AND receive an ARC of Hate to Want You. Plus when I told her how much a good friend identified with her characters she gave me an ARC for her. I went there already a fan but left knowing that she was firmly on my auto-buy list. As anyone who has read any of my reviews over the last few months knows – I love Avon Gale! She writes amazing hockey m/m books, co-wrote a great m/m book with Roan Parrish just last month, and now is co-writing with Piper Vaughn here. I hadn’t read any Piper Vaughn books before but this features a LOT of tattooing and art and those are things I love so YES please! Continue reading “Spotlight: Permanent Ink by Avon Gale & Piper Vaughn”
Chasing Destiny is book 2 in Megan Erickson’s werewolf/zombie apocalyptic series. And that sentence just sounds odd but I LOVE this series and highly recommend it. I was really anticipating this book and it did not let me down at all. Continue reading “Book Review: Chasing Destiny by Megan Erickson”
Spellbinder is book 2 in the Moonshadow trilogy by Thea Harrison. I absolutely loved the Elder Races series and this is a spin off of that series. You can read these books as a stand alone without any confusion but it was enjoyable for me to have the world building already established for me. I also really liked seeing names and characters popping up here and there that I recognized from the Elder Races. Continue reading “Book Review: Spellbinder by Thea Harrison”
Roan Parrish – who wrote the Middle of Somewhere series I love- and Avon Gale – who wrote the Scoring Chances series I adore and a ton of other books – teamed up and wrote a book! Male/Male romance seems filled with these amazing writing duo’s; Sarina Bowen & Elle Kennedy, Megan Erickson & Santino Hassell and now we can add Roan and Avon to this great list. Continue reading “Book Review/Tour: Heart of the Steal by Avon Gale & Roan Parrish”
This is an enemies-to-lovers book and I generally love those kinds of books. Dean and Mia were in love in High School until something made them fall extremely out of love to the point of pretty much hatred. It’s been 10 years now and they have to be around each other again. Continue reading “Book Review: Resentment by Nicole London”
If you haven’t read Julianna Keyes before, this is a great book to start with! It’s not part of a series, there’s no connections to any other books so it’s a great place to start with an excellent author. Continue reading “Book Review: My Roommate’s Girl by Julianna Keyes”
Coach’s Challenge is the next in one of my favorite series – the Scoring Chances series by Avon Gale. I’m a huge fan of hockey books (hello Sarina Bowen!) and a friend introduced me to Gale’s writing last year and since then I’ve devoured literally every single thing she has ever published. I’m not exaggerating when I say that all of them have been 4, 4.5, or 5 stars. So any time there’s a new one I’m there for it! Continue reading “Book Review – Coach’s Challenge by Avon Gale”
