I love Lilah Pace’s writing, I read her Asking for More books and thought her writing was captivating so I was so excited for this LGBT book to come out. This book is exactly what I needed! If you are looking for “controversial” and “Batman”, look no further than 1988’s Batman: The Killing Joke, which continues to spark debate and Twitter fire to this day. A huge resurgence of the story’s controversy come from the current release of an animated film adaptation, which has been been both highly fan demanded and detractor opposed for years. It all seems fitting for a story about dichotomy, dependency and “one bad day”.

I already effusively talked about how much I love Nalini Singh earlier this year so I won’t get into that yet again but Rock Wedding comes out today! This is the final book in her Rock Kiss contemporary series, which was a departure from her more paranormal roots. Each book has featured a different band mate and given us a glimpse at their friendship and for me this book was the perfect ending to the series.
