This is the 4th book in Megan Erickson’s male/male romance In Focus but it can absolutely be read alone and you won’t be lost at all. However the previous books are really great so I would highly recommend anyone them. They’re some of my favorites in the genre! I requested this book completely based on its synopsis. It’s a m/m romance set on a cooking reality show like Top Chef. Um YES PLEASE!? I was definitely hoping it would live up to how exited I was for a book based on that awesomeness. And it so did! Continue reading “Book Review: Under the Knife by Laurin Kelly”
I love Lilah Pace’s writing, I read her Asking for More books and thought her writing was captivating so I was so excited for this LGBT book to come out. This book is exactly what I needed! Since I read it I’ve been randomly recommending it to everyone I know who reads male/male romance. Continue reading “Book Review: His Royal Secret by Lilah Pace”
Unlikable, terrible characters, and a must read book… sort of…
Continue reading “Book Review: Winning by Lara Deloza”
I read this in a group read and it was so much fun! I really loved the book from the opening scenes and that continues pretty much throughout the book. This is the third in the Ellery College series but can definitely be read as a stand alone as there isn’t much overlap. Both main characters made me love them but for different reasons – which is always a sign for a great book! Continue reading “Book Review: Unraveling Josh by Edie Danford”
I love all things Annabeth Albert! Seriously, I just fall in love with her writing more and more with each book and series of hers that I read. Beta Test is definitely no exception to this. I’ve also read a few books in the ‘gaymer’ genre and this genre just works so well for me which is surprising to me since I don’t have much interest in that area. Or maybe I just read really amazing authors! Continue reading “Book Review: Beta Test by Annabeth Albert”
Today’s 10 Questions installment features KJ Charles. KJ Charles is a writer and freelance editor. She lives in London with her husband, two kids, an out-of-control garden and an increasingly murderous cat. KJ writes mostly romance, gay and straight, frequently historical, and usually with some fantasy or horror in there. Continue reading “Ten Questions with KJ Charles”

I wanted to read this as soon as I heard about it – I love both Christina Lee and Nyrae Dawn so I couldn’t wait to see what they came up with together! Christina Lee writes both m/m and m/f romance that I’ve enjoyed a lot. Nyrae Dawn writes young adult and more adult romance under her pen name Riley Hart which I love. Title: Between a Rock and a Hard Place – Bend or Break #6-#7
Author: Amy Jo Cousins
Rating: 5 Stars
Reviewer: Melinda
This is a duology that includes both #6 and #7 in the Bend or Break series, or you can buy them separately if you’re so inclined. I prefer the cover on this one and Cousins always has the best covers! Either individually or together these books get an easy 5 stars, but that’s really not surprising since I’m kind of a fangirl for this whole series.
