Release Blitz: Paint the Stars by Christina Lee & Nyrae Dawn

Paint the Stars is book 3 in Christina Lee & Nyrae Dawn’s Free Fall series, which is a new adult age range of male/male combining two authors that I’ve really enjoyed in the past. The earlier two dealt with mental health issues and anxiety in a sensitive way. Continue reading “Release Blitz: Paint the Stars by Christina Lee & Nyrae Dawn”

Book Review: The Hundred Lies of Lizzie Lovett

I was looking forward to this YA book – it was supposed to have some teen angst, some mystery, some suspense. So a little bit of everything. I’m a fan of all of those things, so pretty much right up my alley, right? Wrong. So, wrong. To say I was disappointed in this book feels like a stretch. I was bored by it which is the worst thing I can say about a book. If I hate a book at least I can say it’s memorable. Not the case here. Book Review: Good Boy (WAGs #1) by Sarina Bowen & Elle Kennedy

Good Boy is a spin-off from one of my favorite male/male books ever – Him and the follow up Us. If you’ve read those (and really, if you haven’t GO NOW) then you’re familiar with the wonderful Jamie and Wes. As well as my favorite Blake, their neighbor. Good Boy is the story of Blake and Jess, who happens to be Jamie’s sister. Continue reading “Book Review: Good Boy (WAGs #1) by Sarina Bowen & Elle Kennedy”

Book Review: Leo Loves Aries by Anyta Sunday

There is something kind of awesome about stumbling upon a book you love. Don’t get me wrong – I completely adore book recommendations – but finding a book and giving it a try and then discovering you love it as you get more and more into it is just one of those experiences that will never grow old. This book was that for me. I found it on the Kindle Lending Library and thought I’d give it a try, and then proceeded to read it all in one setting! Continue reading “Book Review: Leo Loves Aries by Anyta Sunday”

Book Review: Diablo Lake: Protected by Lauren Dane

Lauren Dane is one of those prolific writers that I feel like I can name a trope and she has a series or book that contains exactly what a reader may be looking for. Rock Stars? The Hurley Boys! Motorcycles? Ink & Chrome! Small Town? Petal! Menage? Err…there are a few lol. Super strong heroine – take your pick! Continue reading “Book Review: Diablo Lake: Protected by Lauren Dane”

Book Review: You Will Know Me by Megan Abbott

This book is a murder mystery, but not. It’s not a YA novel by any means but it concentrates largely on teen characters. You Will Know Me has a little of everything – family drama, sports, murder and above all, really great writing. Continue reading “Book Review: You Will Know Me by Megan Abbott”
