Nalini Singh has so many books you would think it would be hard to pick a series but nope, not for me. She is my ultimate favorite author, tops my list of authors I’d kill to meet, and this series right here is my favorite of all of hers. The Guild Hunter series has a grittiness and urbanness to it that I wouldn’t normally say that I like but like with most things Nalini just does it so, so well that I fell in love with her characters and this world. My love for Nalini Singh isn’t exactly one that’s hidden. I like to sing it from the rafters and she tops my list of ultimate dream authors I would love to meet! But there are different permutations of this author and the Guild Hunter series is my all time favorite. Archangel’s Heart is the latest in this series, out today actually, and it fulfilled almost every thing that I was looking for in this book. I can always count on Nalini to not let me down which is why she’s one of the handful of autobuy authors I have which is the highest of honors a reader can bestow! I already effusively talked about how much I love Nalini Singh earlier this year so I won’t get into that yet again but Rock Wedding comes out today! This is the final book in her Rock Kiss contemporary series, which was a departure from her more paranormal roots. Each book has featured a different band mate and given us a glimpse at their friendship and for me this book was the perfect ending to the series. Allegiance of Honor is #15 in Nalini Singh’s Psy/Changeling series but was talked about as the beginning of a new story arc. This felt…different from all the rest of the books. Not bad different or good different – just different! There were so many things I loved about this book though and fans of Singh shouldn’t be disappointed.
